Our Work
Research and Impact Learning
Prioritizing research is essential to address strategic and programmatic issues in healthcare, especially in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH). In humanitarian settings, immediate response often takes precedence over research, but evidence-based interventions remain vital for effective, sustainable solutions.
Young Jewels aligns its research strategy with the Kenya National Research and Learning Policy (KNRLP) 2022–2027 to enhance reproductive health program implementation and to address prioritized health issues in a resource-limited landscape.
Focus Areas
Research
Young Jewels generates evidence-based interventions through comprehensive research and human-centered design methods. By producing position statements, research publications, and annual reports, we contribute valuable data to inform decisions in Sexual Reproductive Health.
Our research efforts are guided by the Kenya National Research and Learning Policy to support continuous improvement and relevance in program delivery.
Innovations & Knowledge Management
Young Jewels prioritizes innovation and continuous quality improvement to drive program effectiveness. By adopting rigorous quality assessments and preserving critical knowledge, we ensure that our programs remain impactful and adaptive to changing needs. We also leverage technology and media to enhance program delivery and reach.
Our commitment to innovation and responsible knowledge management fosters a sustainable learning environment that supports informed decision-making and a lasting positive impact.
Impact Learning
We prioritize learning from global and national insights, documenting success stories, and creating fact sheets to communicate program impact.
This approach supports transparency and ensures that knowledge gained from our programs is accessible for stakeholders, further driving informed decision-making and improved outcomes.
